Halloween Fun at Kimball Farms

This will be the fifth year for the Kimball Farms Halloween haunted house at 5726 Breezeland Rd. (right next to Liberty Park).  The Zarrillo family and their neighbors come together each year to turn the Zarrillo family home into a haunted house for fun and charity. Children and adults take part to create a scary but fun atmosphere for all to enjoy. Admission is one can of food per person, which is donated to the Carpentersville F.I.S.H food pantry at the end of the event.  We have collected a great deal of food over the past years and hope to exceed what we have done in the past, in this, which will be our last year for this event.  All food donations of non-perishable items will be accepted.

The house is decorated using classic movie and TV themes like the Addams Family, Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy and Wolf man.  As usual, some new surprises are in store this year with added special effects and activities.

Hours this year are as follows:  Friday and Saturday October 19-20, 6:00 – 9:00 PM;  Sunday October 21, 6:00 – 8:00 PM; Friday and Saturday October 26-27, 6:00 – 9:00 PM; Sunday October 28, 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, since its in the middle of a school night and many of our “ghouls” who help put this together have school the next day, we will not be open on Halloween night itself.

If you have younger children please try to attend during the first hour each night as this will aid in accommodating their special needs (for lighting, effects, etc).

Thank You

Robert and Bonnie Zarrillo

In previous years we have collected close to 2000 food items and several hundred dollars for charity
